I agree to what you are saying sir....but I also feel only papers with real substance should get published. I don't know where you are from and mean no disrespect to my country, but here very few people do serious research. Most of the stuff is just garbage. When I need a reference I always scout for international papers. I feel one shouldn't rush to publish stuff for the heck of it only because it looks good on their CV, but if and when they do come across something worth reading and contributing should they go ahead and do it. I am a clinician, research hasn't been my area of interest primarily though I have assisted my mentors with research work. Today it has turned into some kind of an academic status symbol to have tens and hundreds of papers published, though good clinicians aren't many.
