I find Kerala the worst when it comes to etiquettes in public transportation, but the rest of the country isn't far behind. I doubt there is a single woman who can say that I haven't been sexually abused and that's pretty sad.

Also, these offenses are very much punishable. They come under 'Outraging the modesty of a woman'. You can always report them.

Nirbhaya's rapists were given the death sentence if I remember right. One committed suicide in prison soon enough and the juvenile got the lightest sentence.
