I think it is natural to feel the way you did. There will always be strife around the world. If one starts feeling guilty about living life just because a part of society isn't, we will never truly live. All we can do is to not be the one to start something horrendous or be the one to escalate it, including on social media,. That's the least we can do because some things are beyond us.
