I understand that you are bitter but at times I feel like you are looking at it wrong. A relationship requires work, but not in the sense that one or the other first screws it up and then the two decide to work on mending it. It requires work to be emotionally available, to be the best version of yourself, to put the other person ahead of you, to love and care deeply. All this requires work. Not what I hear some celebrities say that they are working hard to keep a disintegrating and unfaithful relationship together. Understand what you need to invest your time and emotions in. I have seen ordinary people who are wonderful couples. Who literally place each other on a pedestal and love them the same till the end of their life. Not everything has to be high profile to be beautiful.
