This is what some people don't get. I don't know what the law there says, but here the 'intention' counts. If you were trying to play your partner's psyche and trick them into sleeping with you, your intention was only and only to violate them. Now, for people who do have casual sex, it may not seem like a big deal and probably will laugh off the whole thing, but that is not how many societies work. For some women the promise of marriage is a basis for trust to get physical and when one lies, he is violating that. I even know of stories where women have been promised marriage, have gotten physical , gotten pregnant and then been dumped for someone else and the man has continued with his life like a thorough gentleman. Just not done.

Actually nothing wrong with casual sex either provided you are clear about being casual.

It is like the difference between manslaughter and murder. If you had the intentions, that means you planned and executed the offence hence the punishment is greater.

Even the creepy pervert uncle who solicits sex is better than people who lie and cheat to get into another's pants.

Pathologically curious, I say it like I see it.
