Today, you are kind and possibly one day you will be both (kind and super successful). It is up to us to start making a difference. The world will be what we make it. I do not think the ones at the top of the food chain are evil per se. As somebody has mentioned down here, it is just that the more your empire grows, the more you assign and re-assign and lose touch with the entry level employees. Sometimes, the work ethos trickle from above below. How you treat and expect from your immediate junior will reflect on how they in turn treat their subordinates. You will also realize that at times being overly accommodating will result in in subordination by some. It is a tight rope walk really. Hopefully, one day you will set an example for the rest of them.
